Brilliant, a Rugby League thread - thank you Jo!

Warrington should be favourites and I reckon 20 point winners but Catalans play a direct style, have a decent halfback and Tony Gigot has something at fullback.

I'm hoping its a better game that I've predicted.

Are you going Jo?

In that case Warrington. Catalan never used to be any good and I presume the game is in England?

Regardless of teams (I'm really out of touch with RL) I think Warrington have the big game experience and won't have to travel.

Cup finals can be rather unpredictable as we all know but wolves have all the experience and should come out comfortable winners.

That flying pig to score a brace in a ten to fifteen point win

It shows how things have moved on, didn't this used to be one of the biggest sporting events in the calendar. I didn’t even know it was on until this thread!

Um Warrington please. Although I’m from an era when Wigan used to win. Every season!

I like that nickname for Lineham!

There aren't enough nicknames in RL

I think it speaks volumes for how much it has fallen down the sporting pecking order, yet we all know when Man Utd are playing West Ham for example.

Super League has become the be all and end all for RL but I still think the Challenge Cup could get back to where it was. Up until around 20 years ago most teams used to get their highest gates of the season for cup games.

I too think the Wolves will win but really want the Dragons to. Plus Lewis Tierney plays for them now and I'm a Warrior fan so he's got my vote

It's going to be like "Little Wigan" at the Dragons next season! I suppose they need a different destination now Widnes look to be on the way out of the top division!

Well played in that first half Catalans, I think it should be in a bigger lead.

Tyrone Roberts is an awful half-back!

Very much deserved for the Dragons so far!

Very much deserved Catalans win.

12 months ago on the edge of relegation, outplayed Warrington from the start.

Some great spirit.

Sometimes Cup finals don't make good games, but that was a good game.

It's why I love rugby league.
