You know when you think or read or whatever and theres that voice in your head that you think is you. Well when you realise that you are one listening and that voice maybe isnt actially you? And my main point here is what do peopke who were born deaf "think" in as they have never heard any dialogue. Mind blown |

I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s thought this. Before language was invented, in cave man times, how did they think when there wasn’t a language to think in ? |

I do though mate and that’s the main thing. I’ve mentioned this to people before, it’s probably the greatest mystery of the universe, that no one in our lifetime will have an answer to. But I think we’re both pioneers in our own way, from bringing this subject to the surface. We will be mentioned in hushed tones for years to come. |

Hearing ppl think in words, Deaf ppl think in images... It's a totally different way of thinking. You all did this once before you acquired language. I'm fluent in BSL (British Sign Language) and have been on holiday with a bunch of Deaf people. Thought processes in sign is just another language in the visual rather than audial part of your brain... Not that strange... |

Slightly off topic but do you think that your thought processes are limited by the language that you use? We can only express ourselves in the nuances and syntax of the words that we use so therefore are the limits of our own language... |
