She's black and white and likes to eat grass. I'm guessing there could be some nutritional or intestinal benefit so i most often let her get on with it.
The problem is when she tries to poop it out, she can't. So it's a case of grabbing her tail with one hand and the turtle's head with the other and pulling. Nice.
It reminds me of a children's entertainer pulling endless lengths of handkerchiefs from up his sleeve. I still love her to bits though. |

Dogs eat grass for a reason.
For some it's because of a deficiency in their diet and they are trying to get what they are lacking.
For others it's a method of ridding themselves of intestinal worms.

I feel your pain... Our cat Kevin eats any plants and flowers we have (he's a house cat) then either yuks them up with furballs or poops them out, all strung together by green stringy leaves and stems like a chain of sausages |

Feed her raw tripe it has all the nutrients in it from grass.
We raw feed our dogs.
Possibly, but she's fed on top quality food and regularly wormed so who knows?"

I'm not worried, she's 7 now and always done it and so far she'd never been ill. |
