Saturday night a couple I play with regularly, suggested a few drinks in town and back to mine for 'afters'..
All great until she called a taxi at around midnight, she then forgot to hang up the phone and today I have received a £72.72 ill for that 14 hour call !!!
BT won't entertain it, Ive explained it was a local call to a taxi and not a dirty-wanking call to some 08 number... Any ideas to get out of this appreciated |

No, you will have to pay it.
I phoned my mother for 15 minutes on a bedside phone in the hospital. Total charge just over £28. I didn't realise the cost but I still need to pay it. Get your friend to contribute half. |

You don't. Learn from it, pay up move on. It's not like you had a no-show, you had a great night. leave it at that and remember it for the great night. |
