Here is why;
They have 50 plus messages to deal with, why would they reply if not interested.
You can get abuse back for a polite no thanks.
The person can continue to pester to try and change their mind.
It breaks any subsequent filter they may want to apply.
They may message again weeks later not realising they've already messaged you.
Because no one is entitled to anything on here, its your freedom of choice to message as its theirs to not relpy.
Just delete all your sent mail as soon as its sent, then you won't know what the recipient has done with it. You'll either get a reply or you won't.

Here is why;

Because sometimes it’s just irritating having your mail box filled with messages from men who don’t fit your criteria... because they never bothered reading your profile or just plain decided to ignore it and message anyway.
I often decline politely, but sometimes I don’t think the guy deserves it. |

So therefore, why bother indulging in conversation, even if it is a ‘thanks but not thanks’, when you could open yourself to potential abuse.
Unfortunately, it seems, by responding couples/females are opening a dialogue that some (note I have said some!) men just can’t seem to resist trying to push. So it’s easier to say nothing at all.
