Mine a Triumph TR4A. Two tone paintwork BRG and white, unreliable, soft top leaked but absolutely gorgeous to look at, the only car I ever polished voluntarily.
Was given the choice of it or her, wish I could have that question again. |

I have a little mx5 but its a pitcrew and one of only 6 in the country and she is my baby, only problem is that i cant drive her as got done for speeding so she is sat there covered in winter wax but still looks good. We even got into the final 15 at beulieau motor show, and i hadnt even realised id entered the show and shine, i thought it was a car park!! |

I’m no petrol head… and believe any good car is one, which meets the everyday needs of its owner….
However by default I own a 2nd car which is a late 60’s Volvo P1800s, and I have to admit, although I’ve rarely used it…..I love everything about it….
But to enter the spirit of the thread, my money no-object modern dream car would be
DB 9
Or
Maserati GT Coupe
My money no-object older car would be
Lancia Flaminia GT, 1963
Or
1964 Maserati GT 3500
PS……. I’d also be rather happy owning a road going version of the 1998 Chrysler Chronos concept car… (Stunning looks)

we are on our second Audi TT (mk 1) had both from new. the one we have now is a special edition you won't see many of them about but not going to describe it as the last time we did (on another swing site) K ended up being stalked alround Norfolk and we had to take very serious action. Have only seen 3 others the same in all the time we have had it, one in Norwich, one on the M6 and another in Glasgow. |

I had a Golf GTi as a company car - not sure what model they were on in 2000 - but loved it.
When I changed jobs, the only thing I was sad about was handing back the keys.
Even more so when I was handed the keys to a 2nd hand Escort estate by the company I joined haha |

My other half has recently downsized his company car from an Audi S6 to an RS TT.
Very nice car, but I still prefer my little SEAT Ibiza....I call it Penny! |

Porsche Boxster 3.2S bought it second hand. I can put the top down on sunny winter days and I never stop smiling when I am driving it. It is draught free and has heated seats. |

My 1968 Fiat 500 Abarth. I bought her in Scilily after falling in love with her while on holiday and drove her home. I then spent 3 years restoring her. Love her bits and she always puts a smile on my face whenever I open my garage doors |

That's a good investment. Only the Italian could solve the engine too big by permanently propping up the engine cover. |

Built and engineered in Britain (at a time when we were actually good at that sort of thing)
Grunt provided by a good old fashioned american V8 (6.2 lt)
It was the first production road car ever to feature 4 wheel drive and ABS.
Looked very similar to the Jensen Interceptor (in fact virtually idential unless you know what to look for).
I actually own a 1968 Interceptor that I've been restoring with my Stepdad in his gagarge back in Dorset for the last 7 years ..... should be ready in about another 7 .... right in time for world petrol supplies to run out lol! |

The engine sizes were a 6.3 litre 383 cubic inch Mopar engine for early Jensens then a 7.2 litre 440 cubic inch for the later ones.
The FF (Ferguson Formula) was the 4 wheel drive version wich came from the Ferguson tractor stable if I'm correct. |
