Body confidence tips from Winnie the Pooh

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Winnie the Pooh totally rocked the Dad bod look and wore an ill fitting T shirt/ tank top combo, he did all this by giving zero fucks. That dude was just looking for another hit of honey. Was a bit weird he didn’t wear pants though. Also weird one of his mates had ADHD and the other one was clinically depressed !

Is he an inspiration to us all, should we all be more like Pooh or is he the reason there has been a decline in values in society ?

(This is my first thread in 4 days)

He does spout some lovely shit tho.

Imagine waking up, a fat man in a crop top and no pants stood over you saying (in a voice like Michael Jackson’s) ‘if you live to be a hundred I want to be a hundred and a day so I never have to be without you’.

You’re my wife now.... Christopher Robin....

I was about to mention that I have this book.

To the OP, yes Winnie the Pooh is an inspiration. We should all be more like Winnie and his friends

Rupert was always suitably attired, if lacking a little in subtle styling.

And they don’t judge kanga for being a single mam even though it was written in 1926 and In reality she probably lost her job working at the ‘big house’ after shagging the butler

Eeyore's horrendously depressed and they never ditch him, just listen to what he has to say and drag him along anyway.

I’ll tell you what though. Google A.A.Milne what an interesting life. One of his school teachers was H.G.Wells (War of the worlds) and he was firm friends with J.M.Barrie (Peter Pan). I bet dinner parties at their house were spectacular

I did not know that, I’m going to read up on AA Milne, thank you.

Always kills the atmos, miserable git.

Peter Pan is another cheerful one, some people think the boy who "never grew up" is based on his brother who died at 14.

Is it just a myth that Pooh got his name from Christopher Robins potty training? ‘We need a poo’ became Whinnie the Pooh.

No, AA Milne got the Pooh bit of the name from a swan called Pooh.
