Have a look at meet up dot com. Loads of local groups right across the country. Not a dating site, more about doing stuff you like with other like minded people. Will deffo be a few in Chester and surrounds.

I think the OP is saying that he is leaving the site in 11 days because he feels too old to be on here and it's not fun anymore.
Or maybe it was only fun, but he's found something more fun (maybe he's getting married in 11 days rather than it being his birthday).

I asked earlier if it was the ops birthday and he said yes. A little further on he's said that it will be the first without his mum. I suspect he's not looking forward to it from that point of view. |

Sorry to hear about your Mum dude, I know it’ll be rough but the old cliche is true - time is a great healer and things will get better!
There’s some great advice on here, get yourself out and about and make new friends. Maybe a fuck site isn’t the best place for you right now, especially one so weighted against us single guys (hey, most of us struggle on here, it’s not just you) - a good network of friends or people with a common interest will probably be fantastic. Up to you, of course, only you will know what you’re after!

I lost my mum just 7 weeks ago. I know the grieving process is different for each one of us individually but you can't really mean this post is "a laugh"?
Call me an old cynic but I'm not sure your cryptic OP started off along this vein. FABs seems to make you very unhappy and unfulfilled. Maybe a step back at this time, or another site more friendship based would be advantageous? Or indeed counseling for your bereavement? I know from personal past experience it can help greatly. I hope things take a turn for you, but I fear it's not going to be in this environment.  |

I apologise for say I posted this for a laugh I did not mean to upset anyone it just my way of handle it in the end if that wrong I sorry, All want do is see what idear would come from it for my 52 year old birthday coming up on the 29/08 and make new friends here in the end i made to many mistakes loll. if any of the admin read please close this threat thank you. |
