Summer’s nearly over

I don’t know about you but I’m glad this exhaustingly hot summer is soon coming to an end. I’m so excited for the Autumn/Winter period. The frosty mornings and freezing nights where you can wrap up warm in bed. A nice chill in the air that makes you pull your coat around you harder and into the warm pubs and cafes for a pint or coffee. Plus Christmas and New Years!

As much as I haven't enjoyed the heat so much, I have enjoyed seeing the sun.

The dark mornings and nights are a nightmare when you suffer from SAD.

Near Wells

It's already over. The weather has been fantastic but I feel we've now returned to a typical British summer.

The hot nights spoil it. Would love a climate where we had hot sunny days and cold nights. Wouldn't be glad to see the warm weather disappear but it is nice when you wrap up for bed rather than trying to sleep in sweltering heat.

The only issue with less cloths is the fact I've had a few near misses from seeing these beautiful sights

My biggest concern is that I could cause a car crash while I ride my bike in my shortest pair of shorts

I don,t suffer from sad, but I do agree otherwise that is the downside by february you,ve certainly had enough, for some reason perhaps because its the first month of the dark season I do find it unpleasant and lonely more so than any other time.

Don’t worry folks, the sun will be back soon. The first week or so of September is usually sunny. I always remember going back to school after the summer break and the weather being great and thinking why do we have to go back when it’s still summer.

This is true last October was very warm too.

But with the summer we have had we will no doubt suffer this winter
