Back in the day, i was never any sort of Bowie fan. That said though, "Changes" was just a fantastic song. The music and lyrics just took you along...........easily his best song in my mind. |

Many of these are from the Ziggy years.
His latest stuff was quite different but still class Bowie.
I like slip away and wild is the wind.
Blackstar is odd, but he is a quirky fellow. |

Too many, depending on mood. I love Rebel Rebel and Young Americans, and am currently having a Joe the Lion moment. But how about Soul Love and An Occasional Dream? Just too many to choose from |

Oops I thought that said favourite brownie song and I was going to say the one about that dog and Bingo was his name-o.
I’m rather fond of old Bowie stuff like Love You Til Tuesday and There Is A Happy Land. Very nostalgic for me those two |

Young Americans with Heroes a very close second - when they used that for the British athletes to walk out to at London 2012 it was one of those perfect moments in life where the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end even years later when you just think about it |

"Kooks!
Just love that song!!
Yeah I love the sentiment too, I can identify, I want to be a kook!
I can identify very much!"
Madness covered it by way of tribute when they played Glasto the year he died - fit their sound nicely I think

Love Bowie and today I'd say Starman.
On a side note, there's a great Bowie podcast called Stalking Time for the Moon Boys hosted by David Baddiel and some other dude. Recommended.

It’s impossible to choose , I remember as a child hearing space oddity and thinking wow , I guess I was eight . Then when I started secondary school all the cool kids were listening to Ziggy Stardust and I thought again that this was one cool dude .
And so fast forward , Aladdin Sane , the thin white duke , the musicals , absolute beginners , cat people , the man who fell to earth , then stuff like China girl , under pressure and right up to the end some amazing songs and by then I’m in my fifties ! |
