Neither.... I'm a Sony gal.

The PS3 has so much more to offer than just being a games consol.

It has but its unlovoved priced and is totally left behind if you want to interact with it other than a joypad.

a Wii is cheap...however its going to die out even quicker, for anyone interested in the new wii

check out google for Wii U (its pretty bloody amazing)

Ps3 and Xbox are great,Ps3 winner for a semi decent blu-ray player

but in all honesty i LOVE nintendo... in fact

a 3DS would be great I think as u can play anywhere and fuck me, mariokart still is the king of driving games!!!!!

If you are going wii fit bundle that will set you back £165 an Xbox with connect can be had for £225 its price v’s camera interaction. Some like one others the other. Ask a friend to try.

xbox cinnect wipes the floor with the wii and sony but take it easy on the connect or you will be out of action for a few days with muscle strains lol

Wii is now "old" as you have to hold a controller when you dance/move. Also it only "guesses" what the rest of you is doing!

X-Box and Kinect is the big seller at the moment till the others catch up. No holding a controller and it senses what ALL of your body is doing.

Both the above will also play standard video games too..

PS3 is by far a technically better machine that plays Blu-Ray discs and is a good machine. But like the Wii, it is all controller driven.

There is no doubt that the X-Box style of control is the way things are going. There is talk of a more powerful Wii in the pipeline as the current one could not handle the Kinect style controller. The PS3, whilst technically better is now way behind on what it was origionally designed for. Games! It will need a massive rethink before it can take on the Kinect style of control as well.

However, the PS3 is far superior display wise and you can have films streamed to it from Love Film and that ilk. The others capability in the internet area is outshone by the PS3...

So the choice is really: The technically better PS3 with Blu-Ray and internet TV. The X-Box with it's Kinect setup (extra) that is the way it will all go when they catch up! Or the Wii, which is a machine that is standing by the exit and just doesn't know how to open the door.. Because of this, the Wii is a lot cheaper!

Good luck with the choice!

"Ok so I'm wanting a games console,

The most important question you need to ask yourself, is which console has the games / excercise programs that you want.

once you've figured that out you've answered your question.

We have both the Wii and Xbox360 and I like them both.

It depends on how much floor space you have as you need a fair amount to use the kinnect properly.

ive got all 3 consoles but the xbox is the only one i really play.

for keep fit and interactive gaming it was always the wii. but with ps3 and 360 both releasing motion sensored tech now im not sure if the kinda games ur after are available on all 3 platforms

wii is maybe the best bet cuz it`ll have a bigger back catalogue of ur kinda games

The only thing the ps3 has better than the xbox is the blueray player. Xbox lets you stream from lovefilm and also you can watch sky tv live plus a back catologue of movies etc. The gadget show did a test of exercise games on all 3 platforms and the xbox came out on top as it was more like a proper workout.
