I’m very trustworthy. What people tell me stays with me. I have morals and would never snitch or fuck anyone over.
With regards to Fab, I’m very discreet too!! |

"I'm very trustworthy, and too honest for my own good to be honest with you
Too honest for your own good, isn’t it sad that that is even a phrase?"
Yes indeed, but when you get slated for honesty it makes you think ... Not that I intend to change it one little bit x |

"In what sense
No specific context.
Simply, would someone be right to trust you? "
Yes 100%.... but
There's a BUT here though. Often we give our trust to someone and it's with our own expectations and sometimes the other person isn't aware and agreed to or wanting to have the trust placed in them. When that is the issue then we find our trust is misplaced and often broken.

How does one get slated for honesty? Perhaps that’s a different area and about context or delivery.

If someone asks my opinion, then I will give it honestly, if said requester doesn't agree with it, I get slated...I'm actually referring to specific people here lol x |

That is true. But, there’s some accepted do’s and don’ts in the world too. |

Absolutely. I would wholeheartedly concur. I also want your last rolo. |

Very true, it's the violation of expectation that hurts so much. |

"Why do you ask?"
Just pondering the topic, people’s self reflection and or blind spots or guilty consciences, and so on. People are often so self focused, that they don’t think about their impact on other people and yet are very quick to glorify their values and integrity. Nothing specific, I was just thinking about it. |

I'm completely untrustworthy.
I hide my sexuality from my friends and my activities from my wife.
Worst of the worst and I wouldn't meet me on that basis.

Trustworthy? Yes.
I obviously have secrets, somethings I keep from family & friends.
I know secrets about people I would never ever divulge even when they've abused my loyalty, a secret told will still never be shared.
Sadly I can't say the same about a few people I put my trust in.
If I give someone my word, make a promise I will do my upmost up keep it.. Only an issue with my family, my children mainly would stop me. |

Very , my friends say it about me all the time. I’m the one they come to with their secrets. But I’ve learned that not everyone I’ve trusted is the same to me in return x |

This may be true but what accepted by one may not be accepted the other, hense they get slatted. Happens often here in the forums. |

"I'm sure we all like to think we're trustworthy, I know I think I am too. But ultimately it's only as much as it suits us to be at the time. People are flawed, get over it."
Who is under it?! |

The virtue signalling platitude pushers trying to say the right thing perhaps? |

Most people will pride themselves in proclaiming loyalty and trustworthiness as foundations of their personalities.
My experiences have shown that under proper duress or dire circumstances all sorts of people with untrustworthy pasts in the popular sense, can be the best around. Don't believe one answer fits all in this...has to be contextualised. |

"In what sense

That's a decision for the someone to make.
I would never intentionally break another's trust, and their will secrets never reveal. But would they be right to trust me....only "they" could say. |

So you’re saying you are, in answer to the OP then. Excellent |

If we are just talking about keeping secrets then I could be considered trustworthy.
However my excellent ability to keep secrets could also mean I could be seen as untrustworthy too... |
