I'd define a timewaster as being someone who implies in their messages that they're interested, yet can never seem to give any definite indication as to when they're able to meet. At most you get "maybe", or "we'll see what I'm doing". |

my idea of a time waster is someone who arranged a meet who has no intentions at the time of arranging to turn up
people who chat but never arrange a meet i dont class as a time waster as i dont see sending a few messages on here that big a deal, people who cancel for a genune reason are fine, we all have lifes and that can happen to anyone

We get particularly irritated by people who lead you on, and when it comes to trying to arrange a meet suddenly they disappear without trace. We think many of them are not couples but single guys who just want to see private photos.
There's one "couple" on here who keep on contacting us under different names every month or so. Sadly "he" doesn't seem too bright as the profile often shows the same picture and is written in the same semi-illiterate way. We keep on blocking him but he's back again a few weeks later as someone else. Some people need to get a life! |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
I would mostly agree with the above that the only time waster is someone who doesn't turn up, but I had a meet on Sat which wasted my time. He was 25 mins late, drove me around for a while, stopped to get petrol, chatted on the phone to a friend for 20 mins, then came and told me he couldn't accommodate and we would have to find a hotel room (even though he'd already said he could accommodate). Which is when I went home!
Time and money wasted, even though he turned up. |

for us, time wasters are people who waste our time so if you
make out your really interested in a meet then when it comes to the crunch you either,
back out of making a meet or make lots of different excuses not to meet on various dates even when we say we are flexible around you
make a date then wait till the last minute to text and say you've been called away for work (on a saturday) of course we understand that these things do happen and when you have kids or pets or whatever sometimes things happen last minute and that's understandable but then when you don't bother to make another date we feel our time was wasted because you obviously didn't want to meet.
make a meet and just don't show up then ignor calls or texts (which is actually quite worrying when you think someone if genuine you think they might have had an accident or whatnot on the way to yours but that's probably just me lol)
or alternatively, send a message, then just delete the message when we send one back without responding...
