Chicken bacon black pudding crisps in white toast.
Or croque monsieur
Or plain cold chicken with dark French mustard.
Or cold sliced fillet steak with a tweak of horseradish in a baguette
Or a really mild smoked salmon on a light plain wholemeal
Or crab in a morning roll.
Hell I just love sandwiches. |

Assuming this is what is your second favourite sandwich? (because everyone’s favourite - including vegetarians who deny themselves - is bacon), then I’ve always been easily pleased by the humble cheese (creamy cheddar) and tomato (small and juicy) sandwich. On white squidgy bread, obvs. |

White bread, butter, grated mature cheddar, sliced white onion, wrapped in foil and left in a rucksack on a warm day for a few hours before eating. Mmmm. I call it ' day trip cheese and onion butties' |

Lots of votes for peanut butter & lots for banana, it’s a bit controversial but why not combine the 2 peanut butter & banana.
I enjoy it at home but never had the nerve to order one from a sarnie shop LOL! |
