I've done it several times and usually it's just spontaneous...time to go.
I nearly left about 20 minutes ago, but experiences tell me now, it's best to pause and think it over in the cold light of day.
Anything can trigger the urge I guess? |

If my husband said he no longer wanted me to meet other men (but even then he probably wouldn’t have an issue with me hiding and staying for the forums) or it wasn’t enjoyable anymore |

Tbh I’m not sure I will - not for a long time yet anyway! Fab is multi-faceted for me - the sex is only a small part of it!
It’s about the forums, friendships formed on fab and socialising (including group socials) as well as getting my rocks off occasionally!
Even if I ever decide to have a monogamous relationship I imagine I’d stay on here for the rest of it!  |

We have left before. Mr said he couldn't be arsed with it and I said ok. Left for bout 6 months. He then said one night fancy an mmf so we joined back. Had an ffm and and mmf that weekend lol x |

I usually hide when the lack of meets, misogyny, racism and general horridness gets too much for me. I've returned each time because I've been asked to help with the socials.
If I continue to fail to get any meets then the other stuff makes it more likely I'll hide for longer or for good.

I call fab my retirement years. Ive become less active as the years have gone on. Ive come to a point where ive got everything i want so have a hidden profile as i no longer meet new people. I stay for the forums and friends.
Guess one day i will just fade away completly. |

We haven’t met anyone for a couple of months now . Quite simply , we haven’t wanted to , and haven’t missed it one bit .
In the past we would have left , and did twice . This time we are sticking around for the forums , and may start meeting again at some point .
Mind you , even the forums seem dull these days ...... |

Nothing... We may decide to hide our profile but won't leave.
We've not been active for about 2 years, still socially meeting existing friends but, for the time being, swinging is off the agenda.
I just like the forums, he likes chat from time to time and we enjoy chatting via messages with anyone so no desire to leave. |

I’ve been feeling like this year, one of the reasons I’ve been taking extended breaks. If this outweighs the fun then I’ll just drop off the radar. |

I’ve taken a break for a year or so and come back to it, just on account of life moving on but I don’t think there will ever be a part of me that doesn’t love this lifestyle..
it would take a pretty good reason for me to log out for the last time.. |

Yup. Same here.
As soon as our current subscription ends we're out of here. The forums are increasingly treated like FB and Fab has become over-run by chancers and fakes swamping out the decent members. |
