What does the term 'regular' mean to you??

So I've been on various sites over the years with various levels of success! You know it can be equally parts frustrating and fun :p But recently I've come to question my definition of the term 'regular' fwb and wondered what you lovely fabbers out there think?!
See I believe regular means often, hopefully every week if schedules allow. I don't expect or want exclusivity but if I'm seeing someone regularly I do get in touch with them first when I have a free night to see if they are available.... If not I look elsewhere
So tell me guys do I have this wrong....? Are my expectations too specific or high or something because guys who say they want regular don't seem to understand the term in my experience. I'm not moaning just trying to figure this out.

Regular is whatever the two people concerned want and agree it to be. Therefore your expectations aren't 'wrong' as such - you just haven't met somebody on the same wavelength as you yet. How achievable a regular weekly meet is another question, a lot of people can't meet that often due to real life commitments and others simply wouldn't want to. I have seen a number of profiles however where it happens so don't give up hope! |
