Stingly Byrons Undercrackers Survey
Jump to: Newest in thread
I'm sat in Pret looking down at the worker ants scurrying by, and pondering........
I know that when we go out out or on a meet we put our "special" undercrackers on, but what about during the day, at work?
Do we still put on something that makes us feel a little frisson, or do we go for form and function?
I'll pop back later to add the collected data to my spreadsheet.

I always buy pretty underwear that I feel sexy and positive in.
It's not for 'just in case I get knocked down by a car and have to go to hospital' reasons. If I don't feel confident with my foundations, then I don't feel confident throuhout the day. It's self presevation for me.
I have a variety of undies, from thongs to slingshot knickers. Regardless of the cut or the size of my drawers, it MUST be lacy or a have a delicate pattern, or an elegant design to make ME feel good.
No graying or damaged lace knickers for me. I dont care if it is my favourite undergarment. It goes in the bin. Even if I had only two coffee beans to my name,I'd rather have three pairs of nice knickers and two bras than have 25 greying, torn items.
It doesn't have to mean expensive either. I've had a wander in Primark of all places. If it costs a couple of quid, is fairly well structured, doesn't look like I've spent a couple of quid and makes me feel sexy and confident, then i'll get it. Yes, I know 98% of Primark does look cheap, but I love the challenge of hopping in there and finding the two percent that doesn't!

M&S multipack trunks for during the day at work.
M&S multipack trunks for a Fab meet.
M&S multipack trunks for the gym.
M&S multipack trunks for attending sporting events.
Basically M&S multipack trunks for any occasion, I don’t do *special* undercrackers.
Although I might actually put a fresh pair on for a meet rather than just turn them inside out |

"I prefer commando, underwear is so unnecessary
Don't forget to launder your mankini for the next Secret Tea Party.
Haha mankini is October "
We'll be inside and it's almost Halloween. You'll fit in nicely |

Why would you only wear nice underwear on special occasions?
Doesn’t nice underwear make you feel special?
I know it does for me. I only ever buy matching sets of underwear and can give me quite a thrill if I have to be dressed quite conservatively/demure to know I’m sporting a lacy 1/4 cup underneath and no one knows |

This thread just reminded me of seeing a man do the "bollocks stuck to the leg" dance in the street recently.
I can't remember who I was with but we both laughed and said sticky ball bags. |

All my underwear is pretty and I don't do big pants. I've worn strings and thongs for as long as I can remember. But I do have a drawer with my special lingerie in it that is saved for special people and not worn willy nilly. |

That's the kind of spirit that makes this country great.

There and to the left a bit |
I have a few pairs of "special" pants that I keep back for when I go to clubs or am meeting etc - they're essentially the same style and cut as my day to day pants just are either plain black or white and usually branded whereas my day to day ones tend to be Florence + Fred (i.e. from Tesco!!) |
