A world of my own

They are cute well enough but dogs are dogs, they have fur they dont need clothes. They also like to do doggy things, run, sniff, roll in the mud etc, they are not for carrying in a handbag!

I have two dogs, a bearded collie who is a clever obedient bitch.

then I have the mad as a brush thick as mince labradoodle ... he thinks he's a tiny wee lap dog, but he's not!

(doesn't stop him trying to sit on your knee though)

My late brother in law had a Great Dane that used to do the same

Oh my god, the 'doodle is heavy enough, a great dane would kill me if he sat on me!

Our dog is a proper dog, she is suposed to be a jack russel but she is really tiny, like one of those kids that hardly grow at all.

I took the doodle to the vets for his jabs this morning and he had to sit on my knee the whole time....except when he demolished the scales..... he sat on the chair then and watched the vet and I put them back together again.

...fortunately he has that by the bucketful and is a soppy softy with everyone. That's why he gets away with so much, even everyone at the vets comes out to fuss him.

Awwww. I don't have a dog of my own but love all my friends and neigbours pooches. I even have a doggie goody/toy cupboard cos all my friends bring their dogs when they visit, and I do dog minding when friends go on holiday.

Borrowing a dog is great, my daughter has borrowed my bearded collie to keep her company when her kid is at his dads, then they swap over. I won't get her back before next year at this rate. xx
