I came back from my holidays yesterday and today my sofa and I have been best mates. I went for an Indian meal and came home and napped on it for several hours pretty good actually. |

Snap, Camping tonight as I needed to do some laundry so will sort that in the morning and sit and watch it dry. May stay here another day or so, but may head for a hotel somewhere once I have clean clothes, if it gets too hot in the morning. |

Yes I am lucky, it is a bit introspective, managing in broken German mostly, with a lot of poining. May have to head West in a few days just so I can speak to someone real, not on skype
Should have learned more languages at school really. I am not even 100% sure what country I am in tonight, been running along the border unable to read the signs and most of the crossings I just get waved through without stopping.
It's good though even if some days get lonely. |

I can mostly converse in English and Spanish, can order food, accommodation and basic communication in German or French.
But am in Eastern Europe where the older generation have Russian as second language the younger mostly German. I have no clue in Serbian, or Bulgarian, add the poor German accent on both sides and one word and point is all I can do here.
As for not knowing where I am, that's not unusual for me I love border towns, so often follow them zig zagging in remote spots. English plates on the bike generally get me waved through without stopping even if there is a border post, which often consists of one sleepy soldier. Often the only clue is the currency taken for my coffee. |
