Perhaps they feel 'safe' on here. They see other bi men and realise they're not alone. There aren't many bisexual men 'role models'.
Maybe try a bi night at a club. It's generally a nice atmosphere and you don't have to play with anyone.  |

I see your point but sexual orientations are a bit more multi-dimensional than that in practice. People who just have a minor situational potential for sex - and I don't perceive a balance between what people like and do with the same gender as they want with the opposite - and not just due to the physical capabilities of attributes of the person. Romantic involvement usually differs a lot too- this despite people often having strong emotional bonds with the same gender. In some respects the same gender is very well matched for lifestyle and personality - think of how well they can get on together.
It's tough, with societal pressure influencing people strongly still, as much as we may feel we're free willed. |
