Sjögren's (pronounced Show-grin's) syndrome is a condition that affects parts of the body that produce fluids like tears and spit (saliva).
It usually starts in people aged 40-60 and is much more common in women than men.
It's a long-term condition that can affect your daily life, but there are treatments to help relieve the symptoms. |

Doc thinks i have it. Waiting for test results and scan appointment.
Yesterday i felt dreadful and not started well today but hope painkillers help asap.
Just wondered if anyone else has it and what they do to help the symptons. |

Bumping it hoping for more info.
Iv got contact with a couple who have given me lots of brilliant info but im always on the look out for more.
Iv had a rocky week with terrible sude effects of it which put me in hospital !
Obviously iv googled it, read webpages and joined facebook groups. |
