"I wish I could wear heels - hubby is the same height as me and I hate towering over him "
Ah, tiny midget person here, see I’d kill for long legs like yours, still probably wouldn’t give up my heels. But I’d kill for for long legs like yours all the same |

"Are they a torture device or a self esteem booster ? "
As a 6 footer I don't wear them but I would say they are a torture device as on a d*unken night out with a mate once, her stiletto heel went straight through my left foot...narrowly missing a major artery |

I remember the outrage that the BBC were broadcasting along with various talking heads that they brought to the studios when that city firm was being sued by the lady who was fired for not wearing 3" heels, as they argued that their clients expected them to.
Wind on today, the same presenters all wear high heels, given the strawpoll samples here, it would suggest at least one would wear flats, but don't. Yes I know they might slip them on before broadcast, but I struggle to believe that. So do the BBC only employ women who can wear them?
Mr. And for the record I love seeing them on women who are at ease in them |

Torture, although I can't wear them now anyway so it's all good with me.
They do look good on though. I'm ok as long as I don't have to stand or walk in them. Last time I tried I toppled over into the dog basket |

Presenters, telly folk and the entertainment industry does sort of expect it. The rules for most red carpet events include minimum heel heights for women's shoes.
I have seen BBC presenters in low heels, flats and trainers but only occasionally on screen. It wasn't just the BBC that reported the story. |

I think you either do high heels or you don’t.
If I’m standing still & don’t move then yes heels make my legs look amazing. I start walking and end up looking like bambi on ice!
Nowadays I prefer wedges / pretty kitten heels. |

I rarely wear them if I can help it. I have to wear them for work but give me flip flops or my converse anyday. |

Unfortunately I can’t wear heels or walk in them which is really unfair as they would be the finest finishing touch to some of my outfits
So I have a collection of “fuck me shoes” growing in my wardrobe..... in fact they’ve not been worn in a while for this purpose .... I’ve been repping the au natural/bare foot vibe instead......
...... time to switch it up and let my Hubby feel how “fuck me shoes” work their magic...
Have a great weekend xx |

I find them really comfy! Never wore them for years and now if I’m not in heels I’m in trainers or flip flops cos I’m at home. Love them and need lots more! |

I love them. They make me feel good. They set off any outfit.
I'm thrilled to say I can walk properly in them too! Also they are probably the reason my legs are toned, where as the rest of me isn't!
I hope to still be in my heels at 80 |

On our feet generally
Not in Devon they don’t.
How do they wear them then? "
They carry them and walk bare foot. |

Many times I have after my nights out in Plymouth, when I was younger. Walking up royal parade trying to get a cab. |

Heels are sexy,I cant really wear them now though after breaking my foot twice. Just gave away quite a few of my designer heels to a friend today. A pair of Gucci's and some Guess Heels. I wanted to cry, but she's one happy Lady now! |
