"Big economic event?

ShagTonight always posts a thread when something happens to a business, and always likes to ask a question as to what is the reason for the business having a problem

Ahhhh fast moving story!

So mike Ashley has bought HoF and saved it and 16,000 jobs from administration/closure

Hope the Newcastle MP Chi Onwurah sends him a letter and says thank you !

The crazy meddling “I’m sure I haven’t got better things to do be doing than making NUFC my business” MP had submitted a petition demanding Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley stops “exploiting” the club and allows manager Rafa Benitez to invest properly in the team and the training ground.

Yes you interfering nobody - he’s spending his money saving jobs, rather than pumping it in to the pockets of already overpaid group of men who kick around a ball for 90mins

Just my thoughts

Just a reminder that Mike Ashley sports direct warehouses in Glasgow where found to be employing a whole lot of staff that where paid less than the national wage ...

I’m sure he isn’t the only employer that is guilty of this.

But hey ... why not chuck mud at a good thing ... because after all it’s terrible he has bought HoF from collapse and the loss of all those jobs

I find it extraordinary that he continues to invest in this country, when he appears to get so much shit thrown at him.

Wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility that he could simply say - sod it im off - move all operations to Poland or some other country .

Well that’s fair enough, but I dont understand the mentality of pointing out a negative, when In fact his business has done such a positive thing ...
