I was curious to know what you consider to be a simple pleasure. Having your back washed, someone taking care of you when you are unwell, sitting in peace enjoying the sunshine and a cool breeze. In our busy lives, we sometimes don't value them and appreciate them enough. What do you value as a simple pleasure? |

A decent cup of tea, reading a book, long walks through woods, the sound of laughter, time spent in the company of someone where no words are needed and many more things - sadly not things I often get to enjoy at times |

"True silence. So hard to come across in this mad world." This is true! I’ll rather live in a wooden hut in the middle of nowhere in silence than have a multi million pound house in a city.

Oh just thought of another which is a regular source of pleasure...
...seeing Red Kites circling overhead which is happening more and more since their reintroduction a few years back
Could watch them for ages |

I love the sentimental things in life, reflecting, remembering and smiling. I often sit and love listening to the spontaneous gales of laughter from my children chatting or watching a movie. |
