I think it would be an idea if it was possible the app can flag up peopel nearby for example if I am out shopping and orther Fab users are in same location we should be notified and given an option to contact each orther I understand the security part but app would slow you to opt out of the option should you wish just an ida |

Couldn't think of anything worse. It's bad enough when you are chatting to someone and find out they live in the next village or a mile away let alone someone tracking you down in Sainsbury's |

Why the hell would you want to do that unless you’re a creep?
If people want to contact you they will, knowing they are near you will simply increase the amount of creeps and stalkers that join here.
I had two messages one yesterday and one this morning from two random people claiming they saw me, one in an asda and one at a bus stop, both were untrue but I found it incredibly weird.
If that actually was me and they come home and messaged after seeing me I’d find it very creepy and unnerving.
Imagine a random man/woman approaching you, “Hi you’re on Fabswingers aren’t you”

It’s already there if you search who’s nearby. And just because somebody is in your viscunity doesn’t make them any more compatible. Why would you want messages from random people just because they happen be in the same place. It’d soon drive you mad. |

If I actually wanted to chat & meet someone near to me, I'd look on 'who's near'
I like to get to know someone befure I even consider meeting them.
The thought of some random stranger on here, approaching me shopping in Sainsbury, probably not looking at my best & harrased, kids in tow, or out for coffee with a vanilla friend who knows nothing of my other life?
