"Im sure i saw somewhere she was getting married yet again"
I read that Peter Andre was trying to help her. I'm glad that someone is, she needs someone to stop the destruction. |

She will have been advised to go bankrupt
Usually to write off big bills or debts"
And no doubt she'll milk it for everything possible. |

"And we care because......? "
Personally I hate the whole "celebrity" circus. However you have to feel sorry for another human being who is so caught up in "celebrity" that she feels the need to constantly re-invent herself both physically and in a business sense that it seems to be destroying her. |

"Im sure i saw somewhere she was getting married yet again
Financial problems started after her divorce "
Sadly people like her and other people like her aren't business people and either are badly managed or don't understand their obligations.
I'm pretty sure it was Matt Goss who didn't realise it was Bros that were paying for the limousines, hotel rooms and private jets. He thought it was the record company
As a person, I dislike her as she comes across to me as shallow and self centered, but I do respect others to enjoy who she is and what she is like.
Always sad to see people lose what they've earned thought. Have had some experience of this but got out just in time, without the debts fortunately. |

Probably a business bankruptcy.
She has built an image so will no doubt be racking the cash in as soon as her debts are cleared.
The wonderful thing about an image is that it can't be liquidated.
She may have to downsize, but doubt she will be working at the local bar/shop any time soon.
People are interested in anything with the badge of celebrity so she should be fine. |

That fuck would sell his kids never mind his story only he wouldn't be able to exploit them any more if he sold them

She’s had issues for a very long time that can’t be fixed by a man or surgery
i see a woman who has serious mental health problems and she shouldn’t be ridiculed for her choices but helped |

She can sort this chapter out and bring another book out.
Get hold of ITV 2 to come and film the next 6 months as well. Katie Price - Bouncing Back.
I don't like her but it doesn't mean I have to wish ill fate on her. |

Worse thing she did for her image was make her tv program as she came across as a horrible person. I think it lost her more than it gained.
Clearly has issues also not helped by her mum with her terminal illness. |

Question marks emerged over whether she could afford the £10k a month repayments on her over £1million mortgage, which was £100k in arrears, plus a £25k yearly heating bill and £120k army of housekeepers.

Her bad investments are the men and friends she keeps company with from the sounds of it.
She needs to learn to be happy without a man by her side, pick herself up, dust herself down and get a fuck buddy for those moments when only a nasty shag will do.
Just don’t marry the guy. |

Feel sympathy for Katie, she was a really successful lady and overcame a lot of haters.
I think there have been a few poor choices recently in her businesses which have led to this.
But I am sure she will bounce back, a fighter, which anyone will surely respect. |

Lets see her in a council house on the dole struggling to put basic food on the table to feed her kids. Then we'd feel a grain of empathy, but we would still point out how lucky she is just to have that as a lot of folk on the planet don't.
But that will never happen will it. There'll just be a bit more car-crash tv/media coverage until the kids are legal. Then there will be the inevitable 'look who's all grown up' headline in a mag or paper followed by sleazy pics. It all starts over again. |

I think that would be a good reality TV show, “katie on the dole”, she could not get paid because she loses here credit.
I wonder now does she have to apply for universal credit? Good luck with that. |

I’m not sure about her mental health issues, i just think she has a lot of plates to juggle at the moment and is trying to keep it all from crashing down around her. It might be self inflicted through poor choices, but at least she’s trying to fix it rather than throwing in the towel.

Normally I'd be a live and let live, person, but really... It's not her chuff, that's preventing her from finding a man she can live happily ever after with. This is one procedure that really shouldn't need doing unless for medical reasons.

Celebrities do tend to meet a lot of parasites along the way. It always boggled my mind why they couldn't seem to see how toxic these people in their inner circle were. The same thing happened to Mike Tyson, Muhammed Ali, Britney Spears... |

Absolutely this.
I’ve listened to interviews where celebrities have said about when they were an aspiring singer / actor and the money was tight and they struggled what a world away it is from when you ‘make it’ can afford to pay but don’t have to because everyone wants to give you stuff for free, literary everything from cars - jewellery- houses.
Creates a surreal unnatural world to live in. |

I'm not exactly going to lose any sleep over her "bankruptcy".
Celebrity bankrupty and "working class" bankruptcy are two different things.
Micheal Jackson, 50 cent, Mike Tyson, meatloaf, Kim basinger the list is endless and usually means nothing more than a money transfer to get out of paying a big debt they've racked up doing stupid shit, they all carry on leading very glamorous very easy and very luxurious lifestyles in the main and I suspect ms price will still be living in a big house with plenty of horses long after this bankruptcy |

Actually I agree with them! I’ve zero sympathy myself tbh! She made a hell of a lot of money through self promotion and effectively turning herself into a brand. Instead of investing at least some of that money wisely to secure a future for her kids, she’s blown it on a luxury lifestyle. There are many, many people out there more deserving of sympathy or help!

"In an age where we have vast numbers of families surviving on handouts from food banks, exploitative “zero hours” contracts paying minimum wage, appalling levels of homelessness and poverty how anyone can feel sorry for a vacuous, attention seeking harpie who has blown £45 million on frivolities and luxuries is beyond me!

Why can't you have some sympathy for both, doesn't have to be equal measures. Do you have a fixed allowance of sympathy to dish out?
It's engrained in our legal system that a person to go from one lifestyle to a lower one, is personally tragic for them. I'd imagine a big part of her downfall is self inflicted but it's not like she's an especially sharp cookie with all the life tools at her disposal to make good decisions. |

"She may have been worth that much at one point, it only takes a few bad investments for it to get taken away very quickly.
Quote:
She had blown her entire £45million fortune on plastic surgery, luxury holidays and other costly expenses, and that she has no viable running businesses.
Question marks emerged over whether she could afford the £10k a month repayments on her over £1million mortgage, which was £100k in arrears, plus a £25k yearly heating bill and £120k army of housekeepers.
It's not like she put all her money into tech stocks on the Eve of the NASDAQ crash is it
It’s mind blowing how it’s spiralled out of control, how was she allowed to become 100k in areas on the mortgage.
She doesn’t appear to have made wise choices in the relationship department but I always thought she was a pretty savvy business women so I am surprised she’s bankrupt.
It is mind blowing but I've listen to Mike Tyson talk a lot about how it happened to him. There's a lot more logic there than first appears, basically there are circumstances that are unique to celebrities that make it hard for us to understand how they can lose, what we can live off in a lifetime

"Im sure i saw somewhere she was getting married yet again
I read that Peter Andre was trying to help her. I'm glad that someone is, she needs someone to stop the destruction.
As told by peter andre I'm sure
Has he stopped whoring their kids in magazines long enough to tell that story
Did you mean "Sell" that story?
That fuck would sell his kids never mind his story only he wouldn't be able to exploit them any more if he sold them
"
He was taught by the best! Hence the thread eh? Isn't the saying something like " The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result" maybe she needs better friends instead of more husbands? The woman is a fuckwit! |

"Do you think Katie price , would give 2 shits , if we was bankrupt , so why we talking about her,
Strange logic
What I am trying to say is , who gives a damm, she ain’t paying my bills
You ain't paying hers either, obviously. Don't comment if you don't give a damn.
It's an open forum, he is entitled to his opinion.
It's not really an opinion when your comment is why are people discussing the matter on a discussion forum. That's just an odd statement rather than an opinion. "
If you got a couple of grand to spare , help her out |
