Thinking of throwing/donating all my DVD cases away (have about 400 roughly) and putting the discs in one of those big folders to free up some space.

Has anyone else done this? Might keep the boxes to special editions but really thinking of having a big purge through it all...

Haha. Not sure why I am keeping the collection considering a lot is online now. Just like having the physical media in case a hard drive breaks/internet goes etc... The cases on the otherhand are so big in relation to the disc.

Thanks . They do look a mess on shelves too. Thought of maybe making a mural out of some of the covers... Like marvel movies on a frame or something.

I did that a few years ago. Though to be honest, I can't remember the last time I even opened the case. I think there's very few in there that I would ever use again.

Cheers. I thought about that or donating some to a library or somewhere like that who might need them.

Keep them for when society collapses, once you have a tv and power you will be like a god...

Thats pure genius. What do you think I could get for a private screening of Forrest Gump?

MK

I used to collect dvds, had about 900 films,, family used to class me as the movie shop, some still sealed, as started watching them digitally about 8years ago, sold the lot off, to much hassle and costs, went digital, all backed up to hard drives as multiple backups.

never went back to disc format, no need for a dvd player or bluray player.

I'm thinking 4 turnips or a dozen eggs.

But if you have all 3 Back to the future films, I think you could ask for a night of passion with any man's wife...
