OMG Are you for real. Some of the ladies on here are stunning, and having met a few they’re even prettier in real life. I grant there are some lovely looking tv/ts girls but to say they are the prettiest isn’t true. And being attractive is subjective, what one person likes can be very different to another. This can be a bit of a mixed opinion debate, because some of my friends tell me that putting make-up on and dressing a certain way makes them feel ‘elevated’ and ‘empowered’ towards other women and men ..... whereas some women don’t have this opinion at all.

To be very clear, I'm happy with my appearance. I don't compare myself to cis women or anyone else who identifies as a woman. Trans women who identify as women are women to me. The effort I put in is about me and what makes me happy, not about pleasing or competing with others.

Just a thought - but if we’re going to actually take this question seriously (even though it may not merit it) - particularly the question of ‘effort ‘ made by tv’s and ts’s - then I’d say the answer is fairly obvious!

A tv/ts CHOOSES to dress as/be a lady! I’m guessing that no one takes this decision lightly and it takes great determination and strength of character to risk the scorn of society. With that, I assume, comes the desire to look and feel as feminine as possible- hence a great deal of effort is made!

I - on the other hand - just happened to be born as a female - a decision made by chromosomes rather than by me personally! Sometimes I feel like making an effort and looking/feeling girly - sometimes I just shower, spray a bit of deodorant on and get dressed into something comfortable!

The question of effort is an interesting one. Women (cis or otherwise) are expected to jump through endless hoops to be appealing to mostly the male eye. And we mostly do it, whether we want to or not. Men on the other hand, for the most part, just have to practice incredibly basic hygiene.

Then we get to Fab where the power dynamic is reversed... and men still criticise us about our appearance and tell us what we should or shouldn't look like. It's particularly bad coming from low effort profiles.

I'm not sure if it's more funny or sad. And I'd like to know when the guys are going to up their game.

It's not just this sort of thing. It's also all the comments about whether men prefer bush or not, dress sense, etc. I'm regularly told to ditch my swing dresses because guys like short and revealing.

Particularly in this context... take me or leave me. No one gets to dictate what I look like, and I don't care what men would like me to do to my body.

I think the entitlement of it all is horrible. I'm no oil painting (bit of an ugly sod tbf) but I do very well on here. All it takes is a little respect and understanding. I wish more guys got that, the torrent of abuse my female friends have to put up with is less than acceptable.
