Really struggling to understand why profiles are alllowed on FAB without a verification pic - totally understand how it may take a little time to gain a physical or web verification but it literally takes minutes to snap a pic and send through showing you’re legit ! Sorry but kinda getting sick of ‘false’ profiles wasting our time when we’re genuinely looking to meet up and have fun x |

Setting message filters can help cut this down quite a bit.
Although unfortunately the odd verified timewaster will always slip through and ruin it for the genuine folks on the site x |

Photo verification doesn't prove anyone is legit.
Why not just set you filters to avoid non photo verified profiles.
Problem solved, no more angst.

Photo verification doesn't prove anyone is legit.
Why not just set you filters to avoid non photo verified profiles.
Problem solved, no more angst.

No - not too simple at all ! I’ve not said that unverified profiles are fake only that it would help reduce the number of fake profiles ! I’ll change our filters as previously advised ! Thanks |

Us too - some very convincing profiles out there, which is why we always insist on popping on cam 1st to say hi x |

People exercise the choices they want to. If you don't like their choices you don't need to interact with them.

Hmmm possibly or maybe you’re just another smart arse who’s never had a ‘fake’ single girl message them ? My point is that it would reduce the number of fake profiles - surly you agree ? |

My point is that it would help reduce the number of false profiles on the site ! I’ll not bother commenting on any further posts on here - kinda think I’m wasting my time with the smart arse replies coming back, probably from fake profiles !  |

I’m only photo verified so I could post in the forums. I find the verifications by meet on here asinine, so I don’t leave them and ask that they’re not left for me. Doesn’t mean I’m fake. |

When I was actively meeting I loat count of the amount of meets I had over several years. Never worried about photo verification. Never cammed. Rarely spoke on the phone. Never got stood up by a fake. It's really not that difficult. |

Clearly you have made that decision for yourself.
I may or may not be a smart arse. That's a decision for others to make. But if you post a thread don't just expect everyone to follow What you think.
There are daily threads from those who think fab should be changed to meet whatever agenda those posting may have.
It's a place for all whether you agree with them or not. |

The reason you are getting smart arse replies is because this topic gets posted on the forums at least once a day.
The same responses get pulled out by the same people, all arguing against.
The truth is photo verifications are easy to fake and it won't stop "fake" profiles. It all depends on what you call a fake profile anyway - is it someone who turned you down, is it someone who didn't reply to your message, is it someone who just wanted to collect pictures, or someone who you found out wasn't of the gender you were expecting?
Apart from the last, none of these would stop a fake profile. I've been told it is easy to use a fake picture and Photoshop to fake a photo verification, so maybe that's still an option too. |

In fairness to you, you did say false not fake.
I wish more people would use the filters, it's what they're for and it would surely stop a lot of frustration.
Personally I'm never bothered by non photo or non meet verified accounts.
Not sure if it's my filters or I'm just a fugly cnut. It's one of the two I'm sure.  |

As is the case with all type of verification ...they Can and often are faked photo verification is no different ... I have been here since the beginning if time and never been photo verified  the best veris are those of meets ..it's the only veri I will take any notice of when perusing profiles |
