I was in my favourite pub many years ago, and got talking to a random bloke. He told me he used to be in The Verve before they were famous. I asked him a simple Verve question, which he answered incorrectly. Can't remember what the question was now. The former member of The Verve then finished his garlic bread. And wiped his greasy hands, on his face.
I think you've been told better lies. In the playground, or by a bloke in the pub. Or a woman in the pub, I'm not a sexualist. |

I can’t say on here but I fell hook line and sinker for them all  
Some people can’t help themselves but when it unravels and you’re left years down the line kicking yourself at being so bloody naive it does hurt. So think before you fib kids. |

An ex told me he was on bootcamp with the reserves for 2 weeks.
He was in america on holiday with his mum. Posted photos on his social media of it. Then carried on saying to me he hadnt been to america.

My ex used to lie all the time. Even after I found out he had a girlfriend and had lied to me about her (and his other girlfriend) for two years.
He tripped himself up once, told me the same story about a year apart, but changed the girl in the story the second time (there was no reason to lie either time - so I don't think it happened at all!) |

The one who went to america was huge lier. Some were harmless. But the he lived with me for 2 years whikst telling his mum he "shared a house" with me. Then i found out via social media he had an othe girlfriend who thought he cheating on her with me! I ended up contacting her as he was lieing to both of us. Pretty pathetic speciman of a man to be honest. Haha x |

One of my housemates at uni claimed his parents remortgaged their house so they could send him (then 10 years old) and his brother (then 14) out to the world cup in Japan in 2002 on their own.
He then bought ticket stubs off eBay and did some terrible photoshopping of photos to try and prove himself being out there!  |

That sounds similar to my ex. He told me that a mutual friends sister was a housemate (they bought a house together as friends), but it didn't work out because she wanted more and so he took on her half of the property.
It turns out that they were in a relationship, it went sour and so he took on the whole property (I've never got to the bottom of that particular story).
This happened YEARS before I met him, so I'm like, why lie? |

I used to like my disco dancing though, and one man I was using as my pole said he was best friends with Pete Tong and could take me proper clubbing. He never did |

At Tina Turner's last concert she did in Cardiff at the Millennium Stadium. We were right down the front and a guy tried to push past us and get in front. I locked up and asked why he thought he deserved to push in front. He tried to say he was her Cousin. He was fucking white like!!!  |
