quite depends on the life style right?
Just a heads up for you, scoursers don’t normally make connections with foreigners |

"My hubby is a Scouser.... he's the least boring person I know "
The lady I’ve met here isn’t boring
It’s the general public that is.
(Not saying everyone, just most of them are)
The most annoying thing ever is Hen parties that annoys the shit out of me.
I mind my own business when I walk to town to get to places. Yet, there has been incidents where they’re d*unk and come up to you trying to chat you up with none sense.
The most annoying thing? Slow people, inconsiderate people,
Within a year, I’ve had two motorcycles stolen, my van got a massive dent from hit and run, and fucking emblems on my car stolen.

I suppose it's what u make of it, I've always enjoyed visiting Liverpool, there's a vibe there that's very different to most other city's I've visited. I'm from South Wales so a night out in Cardiff or Newport usually ticks the boxes of annoying d*unk people/hen parties/d*unken people talking nonsense (I'm usually one of them)
It sucks you've had your vehicles stolen or vandalised, if it's happened in Liverpool I can see how u would feel quite negatively about the place, but you get that crap everywhere, hope you manage to find a bit of joy there before u leave |

Only joy I’ve had so far, my group of expat friends and a lady I’ve met from here.
This city can be amazing, it’s the gov that not fighting for it to make it an important city again.
The airport itself if expanded could be a main cargo hub which will attract international freights to come in. You’ve got St. Helens/haydock and surroundings of Liverpool where there’s quite a lot of land and warehouses. AMAZON, right o M62.
It’ll create so much more job opportunities.
Anywhere outside of city Center, shops are closing, people are jobless...

Unfortunately that's the state of most outer cities, but I'm glad you've seen that Liverpool can be amazing, hold onto that thought.... and to the fuckers that nicked your bikes, let's hope their pubic hair gets infested with the fleas of a thousand camels!!! |

First and for all, I’m not from UK.
Second, I don’t normally talk to strangers except for a few sentences at a coffee shop about certain interesting situations that happened around us. |

That could happen in any major town or city in the UK.
Why single out Liverpool? Just because you're working and living there, you can come out with some sweeping statement!
You comment you cannot wait for your contract to finish and you'll be free of the city.
Sounds like you're a real Laugh A Year! I am sure your colleagues will be cheering your departure!
Places are only boring if you don't interact or contribute!
And to compare London & Liverpool, come on, they're utterly differently sized cities. |

Very true about car/ motorcycle being stolen.
If you could judge my colleagues would cheermy departure... I would say that’s a bit too quick to percent how I normally interact with other people. Good try tho
London and Liverpool are nowhere to be compared. I didn’t bring that up if you read carefully.
I was responding to someone’s statement. |

Ah OP, what a fucking idiotic and ridiculous thread you’ve started.
Scousers don’t like foreigners...despite being a city that classes itself as not English, being a port thus having many families with bloodlines from outside England
It’s boring...what do you want? It has theatres, museums, art galleries, concert venues, bars, clubs, restaurants, world renowned sports clubs/events, stunning architecture and green space
City centre is ok but away people are jobless...quite frankly you’re talking shit, possibly picked up a copy of the echo from the 80s...where exactly have you been to see all these jobless people
And finally if you don’t like it then just leave... don’t wait for your contract to end, go somewhere else and commute, no one is forcing you to live in Liverpool |

To be fair, I like Liverpool. It's a compact city, easy to get around. Upgraded centre facilities, half decent travel links (when the trains run on time).
I've found its people to be friendly and kind in general. |

Only boring people get bored because of lack of entertainment???
Are you so dim that you need people to entertain you...
Liverpool is widely known as the most welcoming city... Scousers will talk to anyone
London is known for being the most unfriendly... I've been to London many times, stood on the tube and no one makes eye contact, yet on the train on Merseyside, you'll hear people Chatting to each other....way past the no eye contact stage.
Basically, he thought he'd come to Liverpool, get loads of people sat on his dick from not talking to them, looking at them or even a whiff of a smile...
Ahhh we loooovve London

I’ve walked in to many a pub in Liverpool and got chatting to someone within minutes.
It’s got everything, a city centre right next to the river, stunning architecture, museums, shopping, Albert Dock, vibrant and colourful bars, restaurants. Home of the Grand National and two world renowned football clubs (well one )
You would not get a warmer welcome anywhere.

I went to uni in Hull, it’s OK, I met some nice people and my first FB lives there. I can’t say I have a great affection for the city (although spiders nightclub was great). Probably feel that way because I had my car nicked, a cycle nicked and my house broken into. None of that has happened to me or my parents on Merseyside (both sides of the river). I guess I’m the opposite to the OP as I’m not badmouthing Hull online. |

At a recent conference to discuss England’s second city status, Birmingham voted for Birmingham, Manchester votes for Manchester and Leeds votes for Leeds. Liverpool votes for London!

To me it sounds like you are using the London state of mind on liverpudlians, that won't work for a start.
The further north you go, the more friendlier people are to strangers. It could be you have distanced yourself from the Scousers, it could the people you have tried to interact with have had bad dealings with people from out of town.
I grew up in Liverpool till I was 30, I can say with my hand on my heart that Scousers are a friendly bunch. |

Liverpool is amazing but not everyone gets it. When I first moved here I was so freaked out by people talking to me who I didn’t know. Also the food is varied and amazing, could do with more Indian restaurants but no where’s perfect and the music is incredible! I find the more feeble minded have a problem with Liverpool |

"Oh dear someone is feeling entitled
You think so? how can liverpool be boring when its one of the most vibrant cities
I was away with three scousers a couple of weeks ago and they where far from boring
It’s small, full of bars, uni students..
quite depends on the life style right?
Just a heads up for you, scoursers don’t normally make connections with foreigners"
I’m a scouser and I do very well connecting with everyone! |

"I'm a new convert to the whole area I must admit, having only moved to the area earlier this year but, so far,my only criticism is that the Mersey Ferry doesn't have a bar.
Come on Liverpool City Council, sort it out !!! "
That’s because it only takes about 5 minutes to get to the other side. Last time I was on it tho it had a kiosk of some kind, I can’t remember if it served alcohol tho. |

For only £10,You can take the round trip; Seacombe Wallasey,Woodside Birkenhead and Liverpool pier head....plenty of time to have a couple of drinks and be in the mood to enjoy everything that Liverpool has to offer.
I believe there are night cruises and Manchester ship canal trips to Salford quays that have a licensed bar.
Even the early morning commuter boat could serve drinks if they wanted.....It's never too early. |

Hub caps are what Americans call wheel trims. Wheels are just wheels, wheel trims are the plastic rims people put on to make them look like alloys. Enjoy your seance |

And for £5.20 You can get a days unlimited travel on Merseyrail which goes as far up as Southport and as far down as Chester.
I think that compares quite favourably to public transport in other cities. How far would a fiver get you on the London underground for example? |

Did someone mention Seance, perhaps we should all join hands and get in touch with the living. |
