How do people women and men make that initial first move to getting that persons attention there looking for do you wink, send a detailed essay, send a subtle hinted message or do u fab all there pics in hopes they cotton on
So how do you do it |

I think winks are underrated, forgive me if I am wrong but... I send a wink as this tool is used to gauge interest, if I get a wink back then I will message and make contact. Some people hate winks, but if people looked at their winks and picked out the ones they are interested in and winked back then it would save a lot of time and effort writing out an email for it just to be ignored xx |

I usually make contact through forums, I find writing an opening message ‘cold’ to be very hard and rather hit and miss. If I have something direct to say about a post that they’ve made then sometimes I will reply directly about that. |

I usually turn off my ninja mode and look at their profile, maybe fab a couple of pics and send a wink...
For me that works every time  |

I get what you mean and yes winks are a good way for that but I find that it still ends up with me having to write the first message based on the wink exchange any way |

I just send a message... whether if it’s i like their pics or something that has sparked an interest or what grabbed my attention!
It’s not easy on here so you just have to go with it and try and have fun! |

I get what you mean and yes winks are a good way for that but I find that it still ends up with me having to write the first message based on the wink exchange any way "
My preferred method is a wink if i receive a wink back ill then message them in the hopes of chatting |

Ooo subtle  Chasing someone who's merely looked at my profile seems a bit hawkerish. So I don't do that. I often forget to check if people have fabbed any of my pics for ages as it's almost always dudes fabbing. So I rarely respond to that either. But you would definitely have got me with the wink.
Women should wink more. It may not work for them, under their piles of eager interest, but it really works for guys   |

This pretty much sums up the way I go about it too - usually something they've said in a post will spark a message and then if conversation flows from there then great.
I think I've sent maybe 5 or 6 "cold" messages in the two years I've been here and always find them somewhat awkward and almost a little clinical.
As for winks, while I follow the train of thought of the poster that mentioned them, given most people don't even look at them they've mostly become irrelevant and pointless. |

Well I use a multiple approach.
Reflect on an interesting post they've made here
Read the profile a couple of times, the second time picking out key points
fab a pic or two
draft a thoughtful message, not too long but enough to show you've given them careful consideration
It's been fuck all use but that's what I do

I never respond to winks
And I usually steer clear of people off the forums too
When I am looking I do an extensive profile search then narrow it down..
