I know many people probably wouldn't want to hear the word Christmas at this time of year but it appears Selfridges have started selling Christmas items 4 months before December.
They say that people like to shop for Christmas early which I'm sure some people do but they seem to forget that there are people that would see this as being way too early. As much as I love the holiday season, I think this is way too early.
What do you think? |

After another think, I ended up asking myself, why do some people get obsessed and want to celebrate Christmas so early?
When I asked myself those questions, I immediately thought back to a video on YouTube on why do celebrate holidays so early.
Here it is if you've ever asked yourself those same questions

That is very true but I'm sure some people would think that shops that sell Christmas stock early almost sucks the joy out of Christmas when it finally comes round. |

I agree. I'm always sick of Christmas by the time the day arrives. |

I always wait until around mid-November before I start buying stuff for Christmas as I think a month is the appropriate amount of time for me. |

Tbh i can't believe you have only just noticed..
I used to be a manager at Miss Selfridge back in the 80's and their xmas stock used to start arriving at least 5 months before..
Certainly by the time the kids went back to school the run up to Christmas campaign was well and truly on a roll
Some places do Christmas all year round but its up to you as an individual when you want to start doing your xmas shopping ... |

I knew that shops would start selling Christmas stock early but I never expected it to be this early. I only found out after reading an article about selfridges in the Metro newspaper this morning. |
