So, you're chatting to a woman in a club and it's all going well and you think its going to happen, when she suddenly starts coming out with opinions on politics, religion or whatever that you really disagree with and make you think she's a bit of an idiot.
What do you do?
A. Be diplomatic and non committal, keep the conversation going and hope you can still get a shag.
B. Engage her in heated argument and sod the consequences.
C. It would put you right off and you would disengage as quickly as possible.
If I am honest with myself, if I really fancied her physically, it would be A. It's just sex, and I never have to see her again.

Strange one really. It would depend on what was said really because I’m pretty laid back and can brush things aside. Like said it’s a club it’s not like I’m looking to date them. But at the same time if it was something that offended me a lot I would probably just leave it and move on |

My first instinct was C every time BUT on reflection and as others have said I think it would depend how opposed to my views hers (or even his) were and also how "out there" they were - there may be occasions where A or B might factor - however if those views were so contrary to mine then C without a doubt.
It's a thought that's actually occurred to me in the past but from a slightly different angle - given that most of the time those topics don't arise in a club environment: have I actually had sex with someone who if I knew their views on a specific subject I wouldn't have done  |

Racism no. But differing views on religion, politics or social issues is okay.
A different view point can be an insightful. Better still if the person is intelligent and articulate... I might be swayed... or I might just enjoy the debate.
The key for me is how it comes across. Talking at me? Or speaking with me?

Calm? Or getting uptight?
