Van der Graaf Generator had a unique sound consisting of sax, organ, drums and voice. There is a video of their version of "Theme One" where the sax/flute player David Jackson can be seen playing two saxophones (alto and tenor i think) at the same time.

No yer talking, Jaxon is still around contributing to projects with David Cross - formerly of King Crimson - and his daughters band who's name eludes me at the mo'.
