When yogurt first became popular in britain in the early 70s it was vile, sour stuff. I'm pretty sure nearly everyone ate it because it was fashionable rather than because they liked it. That was unnatural alright. I only started eating it when Losely Farm yogurts in glass jars made an appearance.
