After that incident on the country lane I’ve decided to get a dash cam, been searching online and it’s so confusing as all look the same lol any recommendations? |

Just bought a Nextbase Duo HD so it’ll record front and rear without the need for wiring up an extra rear camera.
Seems pretty good so far, good quality, works through rear tinted windows, hard wired it in easy enough - only problem I found is that due to the size of the rear view mirror mounting in my car it was quite difficult to mount it where I wanted, but as both cameras are ‘swivelable’ I mounted it at a right angle and moved the cameras round which works just as well and doesn’t intrude into my eyeline
Also did a 5 hour trip in 30 degree heat and found that the camera had locked up - but how hot it was when I took it out I’m not really surprised. |
