So how was your first week with the kids off school?

Ive spent the week driving the girls to and from work, and out to friends.
The boys have been on fortnite, and out on the green playing footie and riding their bikes because all they do is rage and fight about the pissing PlayStations!
The dog hates me for taking the eldest away from him, I did win brownie points taking him for a swim in the sea.
We've avoided extra kids

Yeah then there's the random school holidays when parents are working, and the Bank Holidays when kids are in school but parents are off "
Kids really need as much school as possible they should cut the holidays down lol  |

Mine were at their dad’s
Eldest finished early June, youngest just finished day 7. Both have birthdays coming up in 5 weeks so they normally behave over summer - if not I’ll be cancelling a 1st driving lesson. Looking forward to our camping holiday in 2 weeks x

Winging it bigtime childcare wise, the first 2 weeks were always gonna be extra stressful but it’s slowly coming together.
Literally everyone and I mean everyone I know is on holiday these 2 weeks and no clubs have kicked in either...  |

Yep  you can say that again!!"
It was a relief when eldest could be left home alone!! Only a few weeks left with childminder - she’s been part of our family for 13 years & leaving her will be really hard for us all
