What other great adverts are about or have been?

Fruity xx

For me, it's a toss-up between the Star Wars ad for VW, or the series of Terry Tate: Office Linebacker ads for Reebok

The Tango Adverts were brilliant.

Also, I don;t know what they were trying to sell, but there was a piss take of the profesionals a couple of years ago with dialogue like

"Stop Shouting!" "I Can't!" and

"I wanted apple white! This is Parisian Mulle" which were very funny....

It’s false advertising. People watching that are probably going to think, ‘Ahh, I’d quite like to have a kid like that, let’s make a baby!’ – and then they’ve invariably let themselves in for eighteen years of sullen disappointment.

There’s a not a single child alive today displaying those personality traits

.

The one for Vicks First Defence, where the young boy throws a strop in the supermarket, so the mum does the same.

The look on the boys face is classic

My current favourite is the Aldi advert with the parrot and the wine, Like it, like it, like it, like it. Like, like like like like. Makes me laugh every time, yes I know I'm a sad person lol.

And of course the advert, that's always when I know Christmas is getting near

does anyone remember the old lloyds life insurance/pension adverts with a knight having to save a princess from the evil beast 'tundred'?

the whole script for the advert was the phone number you had to ring. i thought it was genius

Surely you need a pearl necklace instead of a bracelet?

Also a car ad from ages ago..don't remember the make, but the soundtrack to it was a tune by Velvet Underground.
