You do have lovely pillows
Of course men are allowed to like flowers, but as a general rule, pretty bedding is usually a 'girly' thing to buy, so I think alot of people assume there must be a women in the house if they spot it on a photo.
I know I've called several people out on it. X |

Our last set was similar and hubby chose them.
I chose the current set its black, with silver stitching looks lush until our oversized puppy jumps up the bedroom door, opens it and sunbathes on our bed then it just looks like a ginger pile of fluff. |

"I had them exact same bed sheets
You'll understand how comfy they are then
Are they brushed cotton?"
Now you might as well being speaking in swahili. |

I've got to keep some man traits, we don't do instructions. |

At times i can be . To be fair they were picked by my ex before the split, they're just to comfy to throw away (and that would be a waste of money) the pic stays because I quite like it . |

You'll be telling us you iron them next! I have a range of bedding but if I have a guy visiting I will choose a plain, masculine set of bed linen. |

Was going to send you picture proof of the ironing, but was thwarted by those pesky filters. You'll just have to take my word for it |

People are always on the lookout for tell tale signs in the background of pictures, in the hope of catching ‘fab single’ guys. Bedding, pictures, dressing gowns, they all add up.
If you genuinely like the bedding then that’s fine but people will read into it. |

My personal favourite is the picture in front of the bathroom mirror ... with all the girlfriends makeup lying out (in general ... not from the Op) |

Could be their sisters make up, house mates make up, it's totally feasible.
Why do people jump to conclusions is beyond me. |

Because time and time again we have learned people lie ... you could flip that and say why people automatically trust the word of a stranger is beyond me |

People make snap judgements all the time based on minimal information on here. I’m not saying it’s right but it makes a lot more sense than just because a single guy won’t accommodate. |

You should just make a joke about it on your profile to stop people asking
The bedsheets were picked by my last girlfriend... judging by which is in my pictures you can guess which i liked more |

True, but if people are deciding this about others by one photo, without even chatting to people, then that's rather narrow minded. |

Maybe, but I think that people aren’t going to ask the question if they know that they’re going to mistrust the answer. Most ladies will just move on to the next guy that doesn’t raise questions or red flags.
I’m not saying it’s right but it is how it is.
If I was the OP then rather than trying to answer the questions or explain it away in a thread, I would just remove the picture and take another. |

That's fair point, but I think it's a good pic so if the odd person assumes that then so be it. Can't please everyone. |
