It's quite simple really OP.

People have a look at your profile, they decide there is nothing of interest to them or you are not what they are looking for so they choose not to message you.

The actual numbers who are looking at your profile could be much higher than you think. The site gives people the option to not show up on the who's looked list so you will have no idea of the true numbers.
