There Every Day.

Every day when I cycle to work early morning on a windy country lane, there's an elderly lady out walking leaning on her stick. She smiles and lifts her stick and we exchange pleasantries as I whizz by.

The past few days she's not been there.

She's not a significant part of my life but now it seems a little odd.

What's a constant in your life, that perhaps isn't very important or signigicant, but would seem odd If it suddenly disappeared?

I used to walk the neighbours dog at 6am whenever I was home, the lady passed away and the dog passed a few weeks later, the gentleman moved in with his family and the house was sold.

I still think about it very much.
