We know this is highly unlikely but if you don't try? Do any of the men in the area attend dance classes?

I used to until they asked to stop coming. Never mentioned but I reckon it is due to me having a crap in the urinal.

Salsaaaaaa!

No classes for me, but would love to go dancing. There are actually quite a few salseros in the scene.

Classes were always a good way of breaking the ice and seeing who you really wanted to dance with

Traffic land

I used to up to my early twenties and I’ve been thinking about going back to it. My favourite was the Paso Doble, in fact I’m putting it on to my to do list to look it up in my area. Thanks OP

Really pleased it might have triggered some action.

Our guess is that the women on here are vastly outnumbered but I bet if you go to a Latin American dance class - the men are vastly outnumbered by women.

Also, my wife has only ever done very mild, soft swinging but has said she will definitely consider full swinging with a good male dance partner.

Used to teach dance and we used to have some very reluctant husbands. Used to get a lot of lady couples who would learn men's and lady's steps

Always found more women than men at classes and clubs. Did mean as a guy who went often I was rarely without a dance, which was nice

Haha, no they were just women who's husbands weren't interested

Go to a Latin club, not a place with lessons. Completely different. Bar Salsa on a Monday as well.

Those I will want to dance are unlikely to be taking classes.

So the search continues. We have found a couple of places in our area that do dance group lessons but no dance teachers and possible male partners yet.
