What's the chances of picking up a decent priced fan this week? Am suffering terribly in this heat!

A friend sent their fella out to find one and he cane back with a £300 Dyson one.... I'm hot but not that hot lol

Just want a pedestal one! Seems they are a valyae commodity at the moment, pushing their worth up!

I always thought you’d look good with a paper fan, fluttering it delicately while in a long, flowing Victorian gown. Perhaps flashing a bit of ankle coz u iz a tart

Amazon are probably the biggest retailer so should be best at getting stock of electric fans back in?

I do carry a Spanish fan with me most places I go my friends laugh at me but then all want to borrow it when it's too hot!

But Spanish fans are no good when trying to sleep.

Been told home bargains have some so popping in to town at lunch

I found one in a skip when I was working on a building site (clearout job) about 15 years ago. It has not long given up the ghost after much use over the past few weeks or so

I'm thinking of buying a new one

If it’s for when you sleep then soak a towel in cold water, wring it out and lay under it like a blanket

Sorry Evie, I meant to say, mine was just a 12" desk fan. I'm not expecting to pay more than about £30 for a replacement

Ive just bought a Dyson one from currys. It's expensive but I put no value on a good night's sleep.

However currys had fans from £10 in stock

That sounds like a brilliant idea!

I was given one of those 18" round floor fans Evie and seen them very reasonably priced in several places, around £20, google is your friend!

A lot of supermarkets seem to have them on "special" - might be worth getting on the phone and calling your local Tescos, Sainsbury's etc

I couldn't find a fan so bought a dehumidifier. It's made an amazing difference so far. So much more comfortable.
