As Bill Bailey would say, listening to ABBA is like being hit across the head with a piece of IKEA furniture; it hurts but you’ve got to admire the craftsmanship
Have fun x |

Went to see it the weekend. It’s a little slow throughout and can’t really understand why Cher made an appearance and her singing is woeful. Enjoyed the first one more but it was enjoyable nonetheless. |

I went with my bestie last night. Not a bad film, Cher was shockingly bad, her voice just doesn't suit ABBA songs. Most entertaining part was by bestie blubbering like a baby most of the way through. |

The first one is one of our favourite films alongside The Greatest Showman.
The second one is good but different to the first one - all we can say is take some tissues.
(Don't think the Cher things works either) |

"Apparently Cher is quite disturbing to watch because her face doesn't move!"
Plus I heard she's not in the movie until near the end which I find kind of pointless. |

"Apparently Cher is quite disturbing to watch because her face doesn't move!" .
The clip of her ‘singing’ that I saw, she looked so unreal it looked like her image had been CGI’d into the scene.
I love ABBA but really did not like the first film. I thought they butchered the songs in it and I’ve been to see Bjorn Again, the tribute band, a few times so it’s nothing against imitation. Just not my thing, however some of the littlies in my family have seen it and now love ABBA songs which makes for great singalongs on car journeys and prevents one from getting car sick so I’m grateful for that |

I agree. The songs are ok on their own but the movie is just awful. It's probably one of the worst musical ever made. |
