Once again another cowardly acid attack this time in Worcester and sadly a 3 year old was on the receiving end  when does this stop?surely laws need to get tougher!??is this kind of attack being given too much publicity for people thinking it's cool?just shocked to be honest / |

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting!
And the man is from my city aswell, so much bad in the news lately, that poor 3 year old, and there was a young guy shot dead in my city too.

Sorry to hear this I heard good things about Worcester so alot of people are shocked about this!people are also cowards nkwadays and carry knives/guns unfortunately noone can fight with their fists anymore! |

Targeted attack suggests that the child was attacked for a reason rather than the indiscriminate attacks we've seen in London.
Looks as if possibly the poor lad is a pawn in somebody's vicious game. |

Yes it’s very very very sad. Apparently the mother was the target but because she was wearing a hijab they attacked the child instead. Apologies if this isn’t correct but this was the news in the town after the event
Worcester is a beautiful city thriving but the edl marches are very worrying, they used to be addicted and infrequent now it’s annually and we’ve had two this year that I know of |

One of the 7 people charged so far in connection with this attack was the child's father & husband of the "hijab wearer" - I don't think it's likely that he is an EDL supporter  |

I've read the article in 4 different sites now and it says the exact opposite. It says the father was pissed off that she wouldn't wear a face veil like she used to, because she had become "westernized". The only evidence that the boy wasn't the target is the opinion of "One neighbour" who said, and I quote "there had been 'bad blood' caused by a family dispute and said the attack may have been launched over the end of a relationship with the three-year-old's mother, who could have been the true target." |
