"Alfa Romeo 147"
I had a red 147 Selespeed. I fucking loved that car, it was the tits. However being an Alfa it was frequently at the garage being fixed. Had to have the engine replaced when it was 2 years old (thank good for manufacturers warranty) and every service cost £££.
It was however a thing of beauty and was stunning to drive. I sobbed when I traded it in for something more sensible. |

"Audi RS4 Nogaro. Absolute beaut and some of my fondest memories happened in and on that car around Scotland. "
Loved my other half’s RS4, he also had 2 S4’s, one was one of the most BHP in the country, purred like a pussy cat, roared like a lion on viagra in a strip club |

"My old H reg VW Corrado. Beautiful car and handled like a dream.
A boy I went out with when I was 18 had a silver Corrado. God I thought I was the bomb driving around in it! Really nice car!"
Made me smile every time I got behind the wheel. I owned it for 11 years. |

His was an H reg too, just had to check your profile in case you were him. You are not - that’s a good thing though, he turned out to be a right dick! |

We had an neptune blue 1970 early bay window VW bus, it was a money pit, but an absolute pleasure cruising down the West Country in.
I spent serious time and money on mods to get it how we wanted it. |

Had an alfasud decades ago(I am older) and more recently a 145 2ltr that looked innocent but went like stink.
Really enjoyed a 924S a few years back, did 40,000 miles in 3 years and sold it for what I paid.
Current weekend car is an SLK 230

Deep in the New Forest |
It's a close call between the mk1 Astra GTE which was great fun but my fav was the Nova GTE. In later years I picked up a Saab 95 2.3 aero cheap as it needed a new turbo. Once I fixed it I have to say that was a fun car to drive even though it was automagic. |
