A question for the single men

Given that we all know that the proportion of single women , and couples who play with single guys , puts you at a distinct disadvantage , why do you use fab ?
Here in the UK we have roughly the same amount of men and women in most age groups , so dating sites , clubs , and pubs will be way more likely to bear fruit won’t they ?
Is it because the lifestyle appeals , the nsa , the fact that your kink may be easier to find , or something else ?

Been in here on and offfor 7 years and a lot has changed , I prefer the social
side to this site made lots of friends and if you get a cheeky play then it's a bonus  |

I've basically been single all my life, All my sexual encounters have come from one night stands and a few from here,
I don't go out often and I rarely pull when I do, Either I don't fancy them or the one's that I like don't fancy me,
I like female company and apart from going out with mates and their wives/gf's being on the forums/chat rooms gives me that |

Not strictly single but for the intents of this profile I am - this place caters to my circumstances perfectly, allows me to meet and talk to likeminded people openly and honestly about sex and sexuality.
I also happen to think that whilst a lot is made on the site about the number imbalance, that when you actually sort the wheat from the chaff that the numbers are a lot more evenly balanced than it might appear at first glance - so take the view that by having the right attitude to the site, expectations set correctly, all balanced off by a thought out profile and pics that my chances of getting what I want from the site aren't as slim as a lot of people would have you believe |

I’m here to meet likeminded people.
I’m not ready for a relationship but if I was, I think I’d like to do it this way...meet someone that you get on with, have great sex with and then develop a relationship.

Dating sites, clubs and pubs are for relationships or a night out that will probably end in nothing but a fleeting conversation. On sites like this, there is all the fun but people at least know there is no real consequence of dating. |

I find most of the dating websites woman are looking to settle down start families but I’m just not ready yet not wanting to go through a number of woman one would be great but just a relaxed open to things regular meet would be great  searching for the impossible I think   |

From my perspective, a bit of most things you mentioned as possible reasons;
It’s the NSA, ease of use, the knowledge that most people on here are more or less looking for the same or similar things. It’s not a lifestyle for me at all so I’m not trying to meet every day or even week/month. Just sometimes it’s a really fun and enjoyable thing to do.
Pubs and bars, etc are where I’ll go to socialise with my friends. There are a few reasons they are not the ideal places to meet people for potential sex. The obvious one being that probably no-one else has gone there for the same reason - the chances are they are just our drinking and socialising like I am.
The next hurdle would be that lots of people in and around my age are married, attached and have families. Probably not looking to ‘pull’.
There will be exceptions to the above of course but I don’t think I’ve met a woman for a casual encounter in that environment for about 15 years!

The nsa. Most people on here are far more up front with what they're looking for so there's no pretense of relationships or anything. It's not what I want now and I have a weird habit of attracting people who want more for some reason. Might just be my face |

Because of the banter primarily as i dont use any other type of social media
But also id say as a break from my normal boring life its like a secret agent lifestyle where i can express myself either online or with a lady from here with the same type of mindset without fear of raised eyebrows or the strange judgmental looks or comments of my friends and family but most of all
Because its fun
