Cute is away for a few days and I am spending my days on my own which is a bit boring and depressive.

What would be your advice for me to do in a new city where you don't know anyone yet? What do you like to do when you have some time for yourself?

Find your local McDonald’s and establish a good relationship with the workers. That way, if you’re ever d*unk, heartbroken or need a McDonald’s in the middle of the night, you may get a cheeky wee discount, or a free mcflurry

You are using the workers by emotionally bl**km**ing them, I regarded you higher than that

I haven't had alcohol at least for 4 months and I don't really know where is the closest McDonald's anyway so late night visits won't happen, but I might befriend Domino's delivery guy

There we go! Even better!

Although be careful - I had a dominos delivery guy recognise me on here. Whenever he was in my street he would take photos of my front door and send me it, saying ‘lol guess where I am!’ And when I turned him down, he tried to bribe me with free pizza

I would watch films, go swimming, go and explore or generally soak up the feel of the new city.

Hope you can keep the depressive thoughts at bay.

Visit the castle, go read Magna Carta,

look out for men carrying bows and arrows and wearing green tights ..

If you see Alan Rickman....run away fast.

Or head up the road and hitch a ride on a typhoon....

If none of that works post a meet and hotel room number on the forums....and watch how fast the car park fills up

I get that regularly with all the accents within 15 miles of here and I've lived around here all my life.

He was the Sherrif of Nottingham in Robin Hood. Sadly died recently. Sherwood Forest ..home of Robin Hood....Streched from Yorkshire to South of Lincoln.

Magna Carta is in Lincoln Cathedral. Can't miss it it's a big old building in the centre of town.

It's only a small town...but full of history if that's your thing...it has shops too...

And a hotel with a rapidly filling car park

Have a look at the events section of the local news website. Go take in an am dram performance, tag along with a local walking group or dance class. You won’t be on your tod long.

Netflix and chill, or Pornhub and thrill. Or maybe get some crayons and a few big sheets of paper and go to a local historic site or church and do some brass rubbings, maybe seduce a priest.
