Short background to the topic
10+ years ago, I worked in a 5star hotel and in the beginning of my job, I was a room attendant.
I was young and naive
And I’ve always thought people who can afford £400/ night are classy and usually nice.
Within 2 weeks, my point of view has changed.
Started from another room attendent running to me ranting the room she’s cleaning up stinks really bad. We went and checked it out, bathroom was brand new clean. As you walk further into the bedroom, the smell gradually increases.
Here’s the key. sight and smell doesn’t match. Room looks clean as well. So we started looking at pipes and drains. They were all perfect.
Until this moment the supervisor comes in. Flipped the duvet.... and there’s a puddle of brown soaked through the bed.
That’s story one
Now skipping to the other one
After a customer stayed in for a week with multiple girls he calls into his room, his room was never an easy job.
Until the check out day.
Room wasn’t too messy, each drawer, cabinet has a £10.
But a used condom or used toy on top of it.
When you counted, that’s about £340 including tips and all sorts of other money he left.
